We’ve all been there… Sat waiting at the doctors or accountants, gingerly flicking through grubby copies of ‘New
Idea’ from
2012. Signing up to 2 or 3 magazine subscriptions keeps a fresh copy of the latest issue in your waiting area; a sure fire way to make sure
your clients are comfortable and entertained whilst they wait to see you, they also won’t mind as much if you’re running 5
minutes late!
It’s a great idea for these to reflect your industry or similar. For the waiting area in our office we choose to highlight ‘Industry Magazine’, ‘Home & Beautiful’ and similar, something that likely reflects the interests of our daily visitors. We’re not saying throw away the New Idea (well maybe the old copies) if that’s something your target demographic will enjoy, just a few options and up to date issues will make a subtle, but big impression.
ADDED BONUS: When the new issue arises you can share previous issues amongst interested staff members. You might be surprised how popular this affordable, added benefit will be amongst the crew.
